After almost 24 hours of travel, I finally got to meet “The King and Queen”. We just met inside Ryan’s room along with lots of beers and chips.
Meet the King!
Gimp is all about fighting spirit. But I asked, was he really fighting? The answer was NO. He’s not fighting or struggling from his condition. He’s fighting about humanity. His condition is as normal like most of us. He is not a disabled person.
There were so many stories about Dan and Dena. The things that they believe in are all extraordinary.
The first moment we met, they immediately asked “why do this?” We traveled that far at our expense to shoot somebody we don’t even know. Why?
Here’s my answer, I was so amazed about Dan was able to cope up with his condition and become an artist that he wants to be. But who could give love to a person with that “disability”? With that condition, it’s very easy to see that they must love each other very much.
With that belief, I consider this as the “wedding of my lifetime”. All the time, I was looking for a couple who really love each other and they’re using mostly their wits more than their money to celebrate love.
I think I will have so many realizations on this wedding. From the outside, Dena must love Dan so much that she is willing to take care of Dan in her lifetime. This is my first realization, it’s really Dan who’s taking care of Dena. :)

I’m very happy to announce that I got the 1st Runner up spot for Artistic Guild of Wedding Photo Journalist Association (AGWPJA) Photographer of the Year. I worked very hard for it and I’m very thankful all my hardwork paid off last year. I’ll try my best again this year.

I’ll be out from March 30 to April 15 for a vacation. I have to apologize to all couples who requested for prenup during those time. I dedicated that vacation to my wife and I won’t be able to work 100% if I shoot your prenup.

Personal shoot
On April 1, I’ll be shooting a wedding together with Jason and Mangored. This wedding shoot is very personal and I’m very happy I was able to be part of it. Hail the King will become reality.
In my 9 years as wedding photographer, I’ve been looking for different kind of wedding experience. I must say I’ve experienced a lot of it but I don’t have any plans of stopping. If you know somebody where you think I deserve to cover their wedding, please let me know. I’m not looking for weddings that can be a showcase or very grand but rather, a celebration of love and the essence of wedding is in its purest form.
Let’s discuss those grand weddings in a very professional way. :)
